HEY! 34: @JeriEllsworth tells how she made an OLED from scratch

HEAR THE COMPLETE PODCAST

Jeri Ellsworth is a self-taught chip designer, pinball wizard and former race car driver/designer and roller derby queen. She built a retro Commodore 64 joystick that was a popular toy, and she taught herself how to make a microchip in her kitchen. And now comes her most recent project - a homemade Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED). We talk to her in her nerd lab to find out how she did it, and a few other facts. Find Jeri on Twitter @JeriEllsworth and see her OLED step-by-step video called Making an OLED - Light from Carbon Compounds
