It was a lot of fun joining @alexlindsay and @1timstreet on the "This Week in Media" show today. They're of course old hands on the show, while I was a rookie panelist. I've been helping out for a few weeks as a substitute producer, and of course helped out here and there when the show was recorded live on the TWiT network. But today was the first time I've ever had to get in front of the mic on a good-sized podcast. I hoped I would do well, but wasn't sure.
Whether as president, vice president or executive producer, I was never a panelist on an episode of a TWiT podcast. I saw my role as staying behind the scenes and helping support the hosts and other team members to be their best. So this is a new role for me, and it will be interesting to see if it's the beginning of something larger, or just a detour.
