Bob Herbold is the author of "What's Holding You Back? 10 Bold Steps That Define Gutsy Leaders." In the book, he seeks to help corporate leaders and managers build business practices and techniques that help companies confront tough realities and make the hard decisions needed.

Bob was chief operating officer of Microsoft for seven years and a longtime executive and Proctor & Gamble before that. His two previous books are "Fiefdom Syndrome" and "Seduced by Success."
