HEY for You FAQs

How much are ultra-short email addresses?

Ultra-short 2-character addresses like ab@hey.com are $999/year, and 3-character addresses like abc@hey.com are $349/year. All other @hey.com email addresses, 4-characters or more, are just $99/year.

Will I be charged when my 14-day trial is up?

No. We don’t ask for a credit card to try HEY, so we can’t charge you until you decide you want to become a customer. 100% your call, no surprises.

Can I pay monthly? And what payment methods?

We only offer annual billing at this time. We will bill you $99 once-per-year (which breaks down to $8.25/month for 12 months of service). We require a credit card for payment (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express) — no invoices, no checks, no ACH/wire, no PayPal, and no cryptocurrency.

Do you offer family plan pricing?

Not currently, but we’ll be considering it. We have families too, so it’s definitely on our mind. But for now, we only offer a single $99/year price for personal accounts.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. If you’re still on the trial when you cancel, you can export your email and contacts so you can take them with you. If you’re a paying customer at the time of cancellation, you can export your email, contacts, and set up forwarding to another email address so you never lose any email sent to your cancelled @hey.com address.

HEY for Work FAQs

Can I pay yearly? And what payment methods?

Currently we only offer monthly billing for HEY for Work. We require a credit card for payment (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express) — no invoices, no checks, no ACH/wire, no PayPal, and no cryptocurrency.

Is there a free trial of HEY for Work?

We don’t offer a free trial of HEY for Work, but you can try the personal version of HEY for 14 days for free. HEY for Work is the same version, with a bunch of extra great features layered on top. We do, however, give you 30 days to complete the HEY for Work setup and switchover process, so you’ll have plenty of time to get everyone ready to make the switch.

What happens when I add or remove someone?

When you add a new users or remove an existing user, the new price will be reflected in your next billing cycle.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. HEY for work is billed monthly, with no long term commitment. Cancel at any time. Export your account data at any time.

General FAQs

Are taxes included in the price?

No. Any taxes we collect are in addition to the stated prices. Read our taxes policy to find out if we collect taxes in your jurisdiction.

Do you bill in local currencies?

We only bill in US Dollars. We know that means a high price in certain markets, and we know there’s lots of interest in HEY in those markets. We’ll consider alternate pricing down the road, but for now USD is it.
